Doris Zelaya is a Latina, Deaf woman. She has 15 years of experience working in the mental health field. Currently, she is the Assistant Director and a Licensed Professional Counselor for the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Gallaudet University. Prior to CAPS, she worked at the Lexington Mental Health Center for the Deaf in New York City.
